At Columna, I was part of the packaging and graphic design team, working closely with established brands to develop impactful packaging solutions. My role encompassed everything from creating detailed mockups to designing brand packaging manuals that ensured consistency across products. Additionally, I developed food still-life mockups for photography reference, to capture high-quality images that would later be edited and strategically placed in packaging designs for maximum visual appeal.
My experience at Columna allowed me to work at the intersection of graphic design, branding, photography, and retail strategy, ensuring that packaging was not only visually appealing but also aligned with broader marketing and sales objectives. Whether developing brand packaging guidelines, refining packaging aesthetics, or optimizing in-store presence, my contributions helped brands maintain a strong and cohesive identity while standing out in competitive retail environments.
In addition to packaging design, I worked on product placement strategies within retail spaces, ensuring optimal visibility and engagement. I helped design in-store stands and displays that positioned products in a way that maximized their impact, making them more accessible and eye-catching to consumers. These visual merchandising efforts played a key role in increasing product recognition and driving sales.
Beyond execution, I played a role in concept development, proposing new packaging designs in terms of colors, shapes, and sizes while strictly following brand guidelines. I collaborated with teams to ensure that each packaging solution maintained the brand’s visual identity while enhancing product appeal. My expertise extended to photo editing and image placement, ensuring that still-life visuals integrated seamlessly into packaging layouts for a polished and professional look.
